Design & Engineering

Design & Engineering works are performed through coordination and teamwork among the specialized discipline engineers and project engineers who manage overall EPC activities. At the early stage of design & engineering phase, SPI especially cares for environmental and safety requirements and plant operability/ maintainability considerations to be firmly incorporated. It is also required to consider and incorporate natural conditions of the construction site, such as geotechnical/ geophysical/ geological conditions, climate conditions, etc. Design methodology, know-how and experiences of SPI are integrated in "SPI Knowledge Database", which serves for the engineers to effectively share information/ skills and also succeed to technological legacy. As part of Reliability Program, SPI performs Intensive Design Review to make sure most effective/ reliable engineering performance achieved.

At present, SPI is focus on providing industrial valves solution to support oil & gas, chemical, power generation, mining, water treatment and general industrial system. These services include defining requirements, evaluating technologies, developing the design and technical specifications, providing technical calculations and engineering diagrams, evaluating bidder offerings, recommending suppliers, monitoring vendor documentation and equipment delivery as well as producing associated design documents and evaluating plant lay-out and constructability.

Our services include all the activities required to develop the different phases associated to plant construction: feasibility studies, conceptual designs, basic and detailed design, cost estimates, procurement, project execution and construction project management as well as commissioning.
